Kariyatthi fighting a social evil in the society: Producer, actress Neetu.

Kariyatthi is a Bhojpuri film revealed actress Neetu Chandra to the media and audience that the film is about a female child who’s is born with a dark skin, faces discrimination in the society. The film is based on a short story by Saroj Singh. It stars Annu Priya and Deepak Singh, and is directed by National Award-winning Nitin Neera Chandra, brother of

actor and producer Neetu said the Bhojpuri film Kariyatthi, addresses critical societal issues, like skin colour discrimination.

As per Neetu Chandra, Bihar

is bubbling with lots stories in every nook and corner but only thing you require that eye to discover and convert them into movies that can bring sea change in Bihar. “If a film can bring sea change in society and in whole Bihar then we must produce these kinds of movies which are inter-related to the lives of the people in the society.” she maintained.

” If films can usher in the new era of inspiring change and fostering conversations about discrimination and gender equality, then we must never hesitate to produce some such quality films,” she believed.

Her main aim is to elevate films in the languages of Bihar and introduce them to a global audience as there are three thousand million Biharis located throughout the world and speak five different local languages and know very well.

She said her region is rich in diverse languages, and she is committed to showcasing their significance and ensuring they receive special recognition from the government as people are divided due language adding there is a saying that ” If a language dies then the whole society dies,”.

She compares her brother Director Nitin Chandra to Bhagat Singh who sacrificed his life for the cause of the nation and he will bring sea change in Bihar through films based on different issues encountering the state like unemployment, social issues, language issue and other issues. She believes that there are only two things in the world: politics and films chasing the issues and can bring sea change.

She also stressed that where ever language dies with it culture, tradition, education and in short everything dies.

There is a saying that “if you want a job, you need to study in the mother to gue like Marathi or any South Indian language for the job but in Bihar we are only taught either English, Hindi or Bengali but there is no respect for mother tongue, so people say their mother tongue is Hindi out of compulsion.

While praising the IFFI for offering them an opportunity for promoting their films, she added that WhatsApp, Instagram, Videos play spoil sports and Artificial Intelligence should be kept at a distance at present as there is no such attraction like human being
