FIRE ERUPTS IN GHATESHWAR NAGAR, K HORLIM
Mapusa Bardez : A devastating fire broke out in a residential area near Ghateshwar Nagar, Khorlim, Bardez, Goa, on Tuesday at approximately 11:02 am.
According to eyewitnesses, the fire started at a house located near Shekhar General Store, sending massive plumes of smoke into the air. The flames spread rapidly, threatening to engulf nearby structures.
Prompt action by the fire department, led by Duty Crew Chief Shri Vishnu B. Gawas, helped contain the blaze and prevent it from spreading further. The fire was eventually brought under control, but not before causing significant damage to the affected property.
Fortunately, no casualties were reported, and nearby residents were evacuated to safety. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
The timely response of the fire department and the bravery of Duty Crew Chief Shri Vishnu B. Gawas and his team prevented a potentially catastrophic situation, saving lives and property.
