Goa Liberation Day Observed at Government Primary School in Madel Tivim”

The 63rd Goa Liberation Day was celebrated at the Government Primary School in Madel Tivim. The chief guest, journalist and retired teacher Bharat Betkekar, hoisted the flag and addressed the gathering. Students presented various cultural programs, including patriotic songs and speeches on the Goa Liberation Movement ¹.

Bharat Betkekar shared the history of the Goa Liberation Movement and paid tribute to the freedom fighters who sacrificed their lives for Goa’s independence. The school’s principal, Ashok Gauns, also delivered a timely speech. Gauri Samant welcomed the guests, while Veena Desai introduced them. Shami Parulekar managed the event, and Ashok Gawas expressed gratitude to all involved
