Khorlim Mapusa Communidade Elections: New Managing Committee Takes Charge
In a recent election, the managing committee of Khorlim (Mapusa) Communidade has been reconstituted with new office bearers. Shri Shirish Divkar emerged victorious as the President, defeating Shri Avdhut Swar. Sri Sudhir Kandolkar was elected as the Attorney, defeating Shri Shivanand (Bappa) Dhavjekar. Shri Glen Gonsalves was elected unopposed as the Treasurer.
The winning candidates received support from former Councillors of Mapusa Municipal Council (MMC), Shri Ryan Braganza and Shri Armindo Braganza. On the other hand, the losing candidates were backed by the MLA of Mapusa and Deputy Speaker, Shri Joshua De Souza.
This election marks a significant change in the leadership of Khorlim Communidade, with the new committee set to take charge and address the community’s needs and concerns.
