CM Dr. Pramod Sawant Inaugurates Marksans Pharma’s New Facility
In a significant boost to Goa’s pharmaceutical sector, Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant inaugurated the new facility of Marksans Pharma Ltd at Verna Industrial Estate. The ceremony was attended by Industries Minister Shri Mauvin Godinho, MLA Shri Antonio Vas, officials, Executive Director Shri Varddhaman Jain, and the Marksans Pharma team ¹.
This new facility is expected to enhance Marksans Pharma’s manufacturing capabilities, creating new job opportunities and contributing to the state’s economic growth. Marksans Pharma Ltd has been expanding its presence in Goa, having acquired a manufacturing site from Tevapharm India in Verna Industrial Estate in April 2023 ².
