LOCAL TEACHERS SELECTED FOR NATIONAL LEVEL COMPETITION
Panaji, Goa: In a proud moment for Goa’s education sector, two teachers from Shrimati High School, Velguem, have been selected to participate in the national level ‘Samriddhi’ competition for teachers.
Shri Yogesh Kaunthankar and Sneha Yagade were chosen based on their outstanding performance at the state-level competition organized by Goa Samagra Shiksha, held at the Directorate of Education, Porvorim.
The ‘Samriddhi’ competition, an extension program of the National Level Kala Utsav, aims to showcase the best art-integrated pedagogical practices incorporating curricular areas of secondary level.
The national-level competition will be held in Delhi in February 2025. The selection of the local teachers is a testament to the excellence of Goa’s education system.
Shri Shailesh Sinai Zingde, Director, Directorate of Education, and Dr. Shambhu Ghadi, State Project Director, Goa Samagra Shiksha, congratulated the selected teachers on their achievement.
“This is a proud moment for Goa’s education sector, and we wish the selected teachers all the best for the national-level competition,” said Shri Zingde.
