“Tragedy Strikes Calangute: 25-Year-Old Biker Killed in Bus Collision”
A tragic accident occurred in Calangute, Goa, on Saturday morning, resulting in the death of 25-year-old Dhurba Jyoti, a resident of Calangute and Bangalore.
According to eyewitnesses, the accident took place around 8 am near the Sai Baba Temple and Vrindavan Restaurant in Umtavaddo, Calangute. A speeding motorcycle, KA 02 KL 1084, collided with a passenger bus, GA 03 N 1011, driven by Pramod Kandolkar, who was attempting to merge onto the main road.
The motorcyclist, Dhurba Jyoti, suffered severe injuries and was rushed to the Candolim Health Center for treatment. Unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries during treatment.
The police have filed a report and are investigating the incident. Calangute Police Inspector Vishwajit Dhavlikar and Constable Satish Sawant are handling the case.
