KARPATHTOS ISLAND NAMED ONE OF TOP 10 EMERGING GLOBAL DESTINATIONS FOR 2025
KARPATHTOS, GREECE – Karpathos, the second-largest island in the Dodecanese, has been recognized as one of the top 10 emerging global destinations for 2025 by Travel and Tour World.
The island’s unspoiled beaches, crystal-clear waters, and rich cultural heritage have earned it a spot on the prestigious list, which highlights destinations from around the globe that are poised to become the next big thing in travel.
According to Travel and Tour World, Karpathos offers a refreshing escape from conventional tourist spots, with its untouched beaches, traditional tavernas, and authentic gastronomic experiences.
The Municipality of Karpathos is capitalizing on this recognition with a new campaign, “Local Ambassadors of Karpathos,” which showcases the island’s authenticity through the eyes of its visitors.
The campaign features videos of international tourists and long-time island admirers sharing their personal experiences in various native languages via YouTube.
“We are thrilled to share the beauty and charm of Karpathos with the world,” said Tasos Milios, Deputy Mayor of Tourism. “Our ‘Local Ambassadors’ are the best advocates for our island, and we are confident that their stories will inspire travelers to visit us in 2025.”
