GRAND SHIVJAYANTI CELEBRATION AT SHRI SHANTA VIDYALAYA
A grand Shivjayanti celebration was organized at Shri Shanta Vidyalaya, Sodiem Siolim with great enthusiasm and fervor. The program began with Shiv Puja, and the chief guest, Shri Umesh Mahalakar, delivered a thought-provoking speech.
“Shivaji Maharaj was an ideal warrior, an excellent ruler, and a benevolent king who prioritized the welfare of his people,” Mahalakar said. “He was a symbol of patriotism, determination, and unity. Today, we must resolve to emulate his qualities and make them a part of our lives.”
The program featured energetic and melodious patriotic songs, including a powada (ballad) sung by Shri Navnath Sawant, which narrated the story of Shivaji Maharaj’s bravery and achievements. The program was anchored by Shri Vishwas Sangale, and the vote of thanks was delivered by Shri Sangam Chodankar.
The celebration concluded with a Shiv Garjana (Shivaji’s war cry), which echoed through the premises, filling the hearts of all present with patriotism and enthusiasm.
The event was attended by Principal Smt. Prajita Sangale, teachers, non-teaching staff, and students.
