“SIOLIM CONSTITUENCY GETS MAJOR INFRASTRUCTURE BOOST: MLA Inaugurates Gutter Construction Project”
Siolim: In a significant boost to infrastructure development in Ward No. 7, Naika Waddo, Siolim Constituency, the construction of a gutter from Suresh Raut’s house to Subhash Mandrekar’s house up to the Nallah was inaugurated today.
The project, implemented under the MLA LAD Scheme, aims to improve the drainage system in the area and mitigate the risk of flooding during monsoons.
“I am glad to have initiated this project, which will greatly benefit the local residents,” said Delilah Lobo who inaugurated the project. “The MLA LAD Scheme has been instrumental in funding various infrastructure projects in our constituency, and I am committed to ensuring that these projects bring tangible benefits to our community.”
The project is expected to be completed within 6-9 months at an estimated cost of ₹25 lakhs. Local residents, who have been facing drainage issues for years, welcomed the project and expressed their gratitude to the MLA for initiating the project.
“We are thankful to our MLA for taking up this project, which will greatly improve our quality of life,” said a local resident. “We look forward to the completion of this project and hope that it will bring an end to our drainage woes.” He further said
