Dr. Pratiksha N. Khalap Appointed as President of Goa Mahila Congress
PANAJI: The All India Congress Committee (AICC) has announced the appointment of Dr. Pratiksha N. Khalap as the President of the Goa Mahila Congress, with immediate effect.
The appointment was approved by the Hon’ble Congress President as part of the leadership restructuring for Mahila Congress units across various states and Union Territories. Dr. Khalap, a dedicated leader and committed advocate for women’s rights, will spearhead the party’s efforts to empower women and strengthen the Congress organization in Goa.
Expressing her gratitude, Dr. Pratiksha N. Khalap thanked Rahul Gandhi Ji, Priyanka Gandhi Ji, Alka Lamba, Girish Chodankar, Amit Patkar, past president Beena Naik, and Leader of Opposition Yuri Alemao for their support and trust in her leadership. She reaffirmed her commitment to working towards women’s empowerment and strengthening the party at the grassroots level.
The Goa Congress leadership and party workers have welcomed this decision and expressed confidence in Dr. Khalap’s ability to lead the Mahila Congress towards greater participation in social and political initiatives.
