“EXPOSED: North Goa District Hospital in Shambles, Congress Committee Demands Immediate Action”
A shocking visit by the North Goa Pradesh Congress Committee to the North Goa District Hospital in Mapusa on Friday revealed appalling conditions that have left patients and medical staff struggling to cope.
The committee’s inspection highlighted a laundry list of problems. The hospital’s infrastructure is in a state of disrepair, with crumbling buildings and outdated equipment. There is also a severe shortage of medical staff, with many positions left unfilled. Furthermore, the hospital lacks essential medicines and supplies, forcing patients to seek treatment elsewhere.
“The condition of the North Goa District Hospital is a scandal, and it’s clear that the government has abandoned its responsibility to provide quality healthcare to the people of North Goa,” said Vijay Bhike, of North Goa Pradesh Congress Committee.
“We demand that the government takes immediate action to address the hospital’s infrastructure and staffing needs, and ensures that the people of North Goa receive the healthcare they deserve,” Bhike added.
The visit was part of the Congress committee’s efforts to address the concerns of the local community and ensure that the hospital receives the necessary attention and resources to provide quality healthcare services.
