In an effort to promote environmental awareness and proper waste disposal practices, the Village Panchayat Calangute conducted an engaging and informative session on garbage segregation at Little Flower of Jesus High School, Calangute.
The session, attended by students from various grades, covered topics such as the importance of waste segregation, the impact of improper waste disposal on the environment, and simple ways to reduce, reuse, and recycle waste.
Students actively participated in the session, asking questions and sharing their thoughts on the importance of protecting the environment. The session also included interactive activities, such as quizzes and games, to make learning fun and engaging.
‘The session was very informative and interactive,’ said a student who attended the session. ‘We learned a lot about the importance of waste segregation and how we can contribute to keeping our village clean.’
