PORVORIM CELEBRATES INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY WITH INSPIRING EVENT
Porvorim: March 9, 2025: In a grand celebration of International Women’s Day, BJP Porvorim and Porvorim Rising organized a mega event that brought together esteemed dignitaries, community leaders, and changemakers to honor the achievements and contributions of women.
The event, attended by over 500 people, was graced by Hon’ble Tourism Minister Shri Rohan A. Khawate, BJP State President Shri Damodar Naik, and renowned Marathi actress Sonali Kulkarni, who delivered a powerful speech highlighting the strength, determination, and aspirations of women.
“We must create a world where every woman’s dream can come true,” said Sonali Kulkarni, emphasizing the need for equal opportunities and empowerment.
Hon’ble Tourism Minister Shri Rohan A. Khawate reaffirmed the government’s commitment to women empowerment and inclusive development. “Goa has always been at the forefront of progressive change, and women empowerment is at the heart of our vision to build a strong state.”
BJP State President Shri Damodar Naik highlighted the crucial role of women in shaping families, businesses, and governance. “Women are the backbone of our society, and their contribution should be celebrated not just today but every day.”
The event featured keynote speeches, an experience-sharing session, and a special felicitation ceremony recognizing the contributions of women in society.
