Panaji, Goa: In a significant step towards revolutionizing cancer treatment, Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant chaired a video conference with Tata Memorial Hospital to discuss the Goa Integrative Oncology Initiative. This pioneering project aims to integrate Ayurveda and Allopathy to provide comprehensive cancer care and foster research in the field.
The collaborative effort brings together esteemed institutions, including Tata Memorial Hospital, AYUSH Cell of DHS, AIIA, and Gomantak Ayurveda Mahavidyalaya. This integration of traditional and modern medical practices is expected to provide patients with a holistic approach to cancer treatment.
By leveraging the strengths of both Ayurveda and Allopathy, the Goa Integrative Oncology Initiative seeks to improve treatment outcomes, enhance patient care, and promote cutting-edge research in cancer care.
