THUNDERSTORM ALERT ISSUED FOR GOA
PANAJI: The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a weather warning for Goa, predicting thunderstorms accompanied by strong winds gusting up to 30-40 kmph at isolated places across both North and South Goa districts today.
According to the IMD, a Yellow Alert has also been issued for hot and humid conditions in Goa, effective until April 8, 2025. Residents and tourists are advised to take necessary precautions to stay safe during this period.
“The weather forecast indicates cloudy skies with a high temperature of 30°C and humidity levels ranging from 75% to 93% throughout the day,” said an IMD official.
The weather warning has advised people to stay indoors during the thunderstorm and avoid traveling to isolated areas.

– April 5: Chance of showers with highs between 29-31°C and lows between 23-25°C.
