Panaji, April 2025 – In a major boost for Goa’s Information Technology (IT) success story, Porvorim-headquartered tech firm, Kilowott, has expanded its operations to Dubai to explore emerging digital and IT solutions-related opportunities by connecting with like-minded professionals from the hospitality, healthcare and education sectors.

With its existing footprint across three continents, namely Europe, North America and Asia, Kilowott has expanded its footprint in the UAE by setting up a base in Dubai’s Meydan Free Zone, a free zone that attracts businesses and investors in the emirate, reinforcing its commitment to delivering cutting-edge digital solutions across industries in the UAE and the wider Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.

Dubai’s business-friendly policies, strategic location and thriving tech ecosystem make it a prime market for Kilowott’s expertise, according to its co-founder Caleb Fernandez. “Our expansion into Dubai was driven by the immense potential that the region holds. We bridge strategy and execution by combining deep industry insights with innovative solutions to help businesses scale effectively. Our mission is to be a trusted partner in the UAE’s digital evolution, driving efficiency, growth and competitiveness while fostering long-term success and delivering impactful results in a dynamic digital landscape,” Fernandez said.

The company is in the process of constituting a dedicated team in Dubai, blending Goan talent with expertise in the Dubai market to provide tailored digital strategies for businesses in the MENA region. “Dubai’s innovation-driven ecosystem offers a tremendous opportunity for collaboration,” noted Fernandez. “Our engagements with key stakeholders have reinforced our belief that the region is poised for a new era of digital transformation and we are eager to contribute to that journey.”

The company has initiated key discussions with industry leaders and stakeholders, including the top officials from the Meydan Free Zone, to explore long-term collaboration opportunities. This partnership is expected to facilitate Kilowott’s navigation of the region’s regulatory and economic landscape effectively.

Kilowott’s strategic partnership team engaged with top industry officials and stakeholders across various sectors in Dubai, including digitalfarm, Grand Mercure Dubai City, Fakeeh University Hospital, a pioneering health care provider and Manipal Academy of Higher Education, among several others. These discussions explored partnerships across the UAE region, emphasising collaboration with local and international businesses aiming to deliver meaningful results, drive long-term growth, achieve sustainable success and foster impactful collaborations.
