Siolim MLA Pays Tribute to Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar on His Jayanti
SIOLIM: In a heartfelt tribute, Siolim MLA Delilah Lobo and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) celebrated Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Jayanti by garlanding the statue of Bharat Ratna Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar at Freitas Waddo, Verla Canca. The event saw enthusiastic participation from BJP Siolim Karyakartas, Verla Canca Panch Members, and Office Bearers.
The event began with paying respects to Dr. Ambedkar’s statue through garlanding. To honor Dr. Ambedkar’s legacy as the principal architect of the Indian Constitution, participants collectively read the Preamble. Diyas and candles were lit as a mark of respect and remembrance. The gathering reaffirmed their commitment to the values of justice, equality, and fraternity that Dr. Ambedkar stood for.
