“Goa CM Dr. Pramod Sawant Pays Tribute to Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar, Reaffirms Commitment to Social Justice”
Panaji, April 14, 2025 – Chief Minister of Goa, Dr. Pramod Sawant, attended the state-level function commemorating the 134th birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar. The event was organized by the Directorate of Social Welfare and Goa State SC & OBC Finance & Development Corporation Ltd. at Panaji.
During the ceremony, Dr. Sawant paid floral tributes to Dr. Ambedkar’s statue and emphasized the importance of his teachings and ideologies in shaping a just and equitable society. The Chief Minister highlighted the government’s commitment to upholding Dr. Ambedkar’s vision of social justice, equality, and fraternity.
“Let’s pay homage to Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar, the architect of our Constitution, and reaffirm our commitment to upholding the values of equality, justice, and fraternity that he stood for. His legacy continues to inspire us to work towards a more inclusive and equitable society,” said Dr. Pramod Sawant.
