“Smash into Fun: Parra’s New Badminton Court Unveiled”
Parra, Goa – The Daniel Lobo Badminton Court at Shree Gavcho Amo, Rashtroli Devasthan, Bhati Vaddo, Parra, was inaugurated on Saturday, April 19, 2025, in a ceremony graced by prominent local leaders, including Honourable Shri. Michael Lobo, MLA of Calangute Constituency, and Smt. Delilah M. Lobo, MLA of Siolim Constituency and Vice Chairman, ESG.
“Sports infrastructure is crucial for the development of our youth, and we are committed to supporting initiatives that promote fitness and talent in our community,” said Shri. Michael Lobo.
Smt. Delilah M. Lobo added, “Empowering our youth through sports is essential for building a healthy and vibrant community. I congratulate the Village Panchayat Parra for taking this initiative and I wish the badminton court a grand success.”
Shri. Daniel Lobo, Sarpanch of Village Panchayat Parra, expressed his excitement, saying, “We are thrilled to launch this state-of-the-art badminton court, which will provide a platform for our youth to pursue their passion for sports.”
The ceremony was attended by Panch Members of Village Panchayat Parra, including Smt. Shital Redkar, Member, Shri. Chandanand Harmalkar, Member, Shri. Bazilio Pacheco, Member, Smt. Candida D’Souza, Member, Shri. Sanjay Korgaonkar, Member, and Shri. Bhavesh Morajkar, Devasthan President.
The Daniel Lobo Badminton Court is expected to promote sports and fitness in the community, providing a platform for local youth to develop their skills and pursue their passion for badminton, marking a significant milestone in Parra’s sports infrastructure development.
