Panaji: Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant chaired a review meeting at Mantralaya to expedite the establishment of a new Veterinary College in Goa. The meeting focused on ensuring timely completion and commencement of operations from the upcoming academic year.

“The new veterinary college will be a significant step towards enhancing animal healthcare services in Goa. We are committed to providing quality education and infrastructure to support the growth of our state’s veterinary sector,” said Dr. Sawant.

Dr. Sawant directed officials to adhere to strict timelines and facilitate seamless coordination with the Government of India. “Time-bound implementation is crucial to ensure that the college is operational from the new academic year. I expect all stakeholders to work together to achieve this goal,” he added.

The new college aims to provide quality education and training in veterinary sciences, enhancing the state’s animal healthcare infrastructure.
