BELGIUM EYES GOA FOR TRADE AND TOURISM BOOST AS CM MEETS CONSUL GENERAL
Panaji, April 26, 2025 – Chief Minister of Goa, Dr. Pramod P. Sawant, met with Mr. Frank Geysels, Consul General of the Kingdom of Belgium in Mumbai, at Mahalaxmi, Altinho, Panaji. The meeting underscored the growing diplomatic and economic relations between Goa and Belgium.
During the interaction, both leaders discussed potential areas of collaboration, including trade, tourism, and cultural exchange. Dr. Sawant highlighted Goa’s strategic location and its potential as a hub for international trade and investment. Mr. Geysels expressed Belgium’s interest in strengthening ties with Goa, particularly in sectors like sustainable development and innovation.
The meeting concluded with a mutual agreement to explore opportunities for cooperation and to work towards fostering stronger bilateral relations between Goa and Belgium
