“Sanquelim College NSS Unit Collects Empty Milk Packets in Drive to Keep Goa’s Oceans Plastic-Free”
The NSS Unit of Government College of Art, Science and Commerce, Sanquelim, in collaboration with the Mineral Foundation of Goa, organized an “Empty Milk Packet Waste Collection Drive” in the college premises. The initiative aimed to raise awareness about the importance of waste management and environmental protection by promoting the recycling of milk packets and preventing them from entering the ocean.
Through this drive, the NSS Unit sought to instill a sense of responsibility among students and the community about the need for proper waste disposal and its impact on the environment. The collaboration with the Mineral Foundation of Goa underscores the importance of partnerships in promoting sustainability and environmental conservation.
