Mapusa’s Roads on Brink of Collapse as Monsoon Season Looms

The clock is ticking for Mapusa’s crumbling roads. As the monsoon season approaches, residents and commuters are sounding the alarm, demanding immediate action from local authorities to repair the town’s potholed and caved-in roads.

“It’s a ticking time bomb,” said acouncillor of MMC . “The roads are a safety hazard, and the monsoon season will only make things worse. We need action, not excuses.”

The situation is dire, with many roads in Mapusa rendered impassable due to years of neglect and lack of maintenance. The impending monsoon season threatens to exacerbate the problem, putting motorists and pedestrians at risk.

Residents are fed up with the lack of attention to infrastructure development, and the community is coming together to demand change. “We urge the authorities to prioritize road repairs and maintenance,” said another resident. “It’s time to take responsibility for the town’s infrastructure and ensure our safety.”

Will the local authorities heed the call? Only time will tell. One thing is certain, however Mapusa’s roads need urgent attention, and the clock is running out.
