“Keeping Humanity Alive”: Indian Red Cross Society’s Free Medical Camp Draws Huge Crowds in Panaji

Panaji, May 8, 2025 – The Indian Red Cross Society, Goa State Branch, in collaboration with Manipal Hospital, Goa, successfully organized a free medical camp to commemorate World Red Cross Day. The event, themed “Keeping Humanity Alive,” saw a significant turnout, with people from various backgrounds availing medical services.

The camp offered consultations in neurology, oncology, dental care, and general health check-ups. Prior to the camp, dignitaries paid rich tributes to Jean Henry Dunant, the founder of the Red Cross Society, on his birth anniversary.

Vice-Chairman of the Indian Red Cross Society, Goa, Shri Manguirish Pai Raiker, was among the esteemed guests in attendance. The event highlighted the organization’s commitment to providing healthcare services to the community and promoting humanitarian values.

The free medical camp received a positive response, with many individuals benefiting from the specialized consultations and health check-ups. The Indian Red Cross Society’s initiative aligns with its mission to support vulnerable populations and foster a culture of care and compassion.
