Panchayat Minister Mauvin Godinho Joins Forces to Combat Plastic Pollution on World Environment Day”
Goa June 5, 2024 – Panchayat Minister Shri Mauvin Godinho attended the World Environment Day celebrations at Carter Road, Bandra, organized by the Bhamla Foundation. The event launched Tiktikplastic 3.0, a campaign aimed at tackling plastic pollution, supported by the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP).
The campaign features short films like “Pyaasa” and “Earthing,” directed by Imtiaz Ali and starring Ajay Devgn and Sharvari Wagh, highlighting the need for environmental action.
The event was attended by notable dignitaries, including Maharashtra Chief Minister Shri Devendra Fadnavis and Environment Minister Smt Pankaja Gopinath Munde. The initiative underscores the importance of collective action in addressing environmental challenges.
