Calangute: In a bid to promote sustainable livelihoods and boost agricultural growth, MLA Michael Lobo has encouraged everyone to take up farming. Emphasizing the importance of agriculture in the community, Lobo urged individuals to consider farming as a viable career option.
This call to action comes on the heels of a successful Seed Distribution Program held on Saturday, June 14, 2025, at the Community Centre Hall, Near Bodko Vodd. Themed “Planting Today, For Calangute’s Tomorrow,” the program aimed to enhance agricultural productivity and promote sustainable farming practices in the region.
“Our goal is to empower local farmers with the resources they need to thrive,” said Shri Michael Lobo, Hon. MLA. “This seed distribution program is a step towards achieving that goal and ensuring a prosperous future for our agricultural community.”
