MAPUSA FIRE SERVICE SPRINGS INTO ACTION: 4 Tree Fall Incidents Cleared in Quick Succession

Mapusa: Multiple incidents of trees falling on roads were reported in Mapusa on  the wee hours of Tuesday . The incidents occurred at different locations, causing disruptions to traffic.

According to reports, a coconut tree fell on the road near Ganapati Temple in Freightas Wado Verla Canca at midnight. Firefighter Suraj Shetgaonkar from Mapusa Fire Station attended to the scene.

In another incident, a berry tree branch fell on the road near Tivim Panchayat at 5:52 am. The same firefighter, Suraj Shetgaonkar, responded to the incident.

Later, at 6:49 am, a teak wood tree fell on the road near Seven Short One Long Cafe in Rayant, Moira. Firefighter Shetgaonkar and his team from Mapusa Fire Station attended to the scene.

In the morning, at 8:12 am, a cashew tree fell on the road near SBI Bank on Cansa Tivim Road. Once again, Firefighter Shetgaonkar and his team responded to the incident.

The prompt response from the Mapusa Fire Station and Firefighter Suraj Shetgaonkar ensured that the roads were cleared, and traffic resumed smoothly. The incidents highlight the need for regular tree maintenance and monitoring to prevent such occurrences.
