Goa CM Dr. Pramod Sawant Champions Financial Inclusion: Anubhuti Conclave Set to Empower Rural Communities”
Panaji, Goa – In a significant move to promote financial inclusion and rural development, Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant attended the opening ceremony of the Anubhuti – A National Conclave on Financial Inclusion: Pathway to Prosperity, held at Miramar. The event is jointly organized by the Ministry of Rural Development, Government of India, and the Goa State Rural Livelihood Mission (GSRLM).
The conclave, scheduled to run until July 10, 2025, aims to bring together experts from banking, government, and civil society to address the unique challenges faced by rural communities and promote financial inclusion. Dr. Sawant’s presence at the event highlights the state government’s commitment to fostering economic growth and prosperity through inclusive initiatives.
“Financial inclusion is a crucial step towards empowering rural communities and promoting economic growth. The ceremony was attended by distinguished guests, including MP Shri Shet Sadanand, Joint Secretary RL-1, MoRD, Smt. Smriti Sharan, Deputy Secretary RL, MoRD, Ms. Monika, Secretary RD, Goa, Shri Sanjay Goel, IAS, and others.
