Porvorim Assembly Constituency Conducts Electoral Roll Revision Training for BLOs
Porvorim: A comprehensive training program was conducted for Booth Level Officers (BLOs) and BLO Supervisors of the 09-Porvorim Assembly Constituency in preparation for the upcoming Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of Electoral Rolls. The training was held at the Village Panchayat Hall, Socorro, Porvorim, Goa, under the supervision of the Chief Electoral Office and the District Election Office, North Goa.
The session was jointly conducted by Dr. Mriselda Monteiro, Deputy Director, Department for Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities & Electoral Registration Officer (ERO) for 09-Porvorim AC, and Ms. Dayle Rebello, Joint Mamlatdar & Assistant Electoral Registration Officer (AERO) for 09-Porvorim AC. National-level Master Trainer Shri Mangish Prabhudessai delivered the training, providing detailed insights into the latest Election Commission of India (ECI) guidelines and best practices for the Special Intensive Revision exercise.
The training aimed to equip BLOs and supervisors with the necessary knowledge and skills to carry out error-free, accurate, and efficient electoral roll management during the upcoming revision process. The session included hands-on training, clarifications of duties and responsibilities, and an interactive session to address queries and seek clarifications regarding their roles during the revision process.
The training was conducted in accordance with the schedule and guidelines issued by the ECI for the State of Goa, ensuring that the electoral roll revision process is carried out with utmost accuracy and transparency.
