“Water Woes in Cumbarjua: MLA Rajesh Faldessai Raises Concern in Assembly”
PANAJI: Cumbarjua MLA Rajesh Faldessai on Wednesday raised the issue of water shortage in the Cumbarjua Constituency and questioned the government of failing to address the issue despite having raised the issue for the last three years.
Raising the matter during the zero hour, Faldessai said that the problem was especially severe at the Kadamba plateau and Divar island.
“For the last three days there has been no water supply in our constituency. I’ve been a MLA for the last three years now and I’m raising this issue. Nobody is caring about this. We had raised it during the tenure of Nilesh Cabral as well,” Faldessai said.
“There is the necessary infrastructure including water tanks, but the water supply is not coming,” Faldessai said.
The Chief Minister Pramod Sawant assured the MLA that he has noted the concerns and would have them resolved on priority.
