“Pilerne Pulsates with Devotion: Shravansari Festival 2025 Concludes with Grandeur”
The Shree Shantadurga Kala & Samajik Sangh, Pilerne successfully organized the Shravansari Cultural Festival 2025 throughout the holy month of Shravan. A variety of cultural and devotional competitions were held, including Ghumat Aarti, Ramayana & Mahabharata Quiz, Collective Hanuman Chalisa Recital, Storytelling, Bhajan Competition, and Krishna–Radha Fancy Dress.
These events were conducted at different locations across Pilerne village, giving residents from every area the opportunity to attend and participate. A special mention goes to all the temples of Pilerne, who graciously provided their premises and extended wholehearted support in hosting these events.
The festival received an overwhelming response from villagers, with enthusiastic participation from youth, women, and children. The event not only showcased local talent but also upheld the Sangh’s objective of preserving culture, promoting traditions, and fostering social harmony.
This program was conceptualized by Sangh President & Pilerne Dy. Sarpanch Shri. Ajay (Amarnath) Govenkar, with the active support of Shri. Sandeep Bandodkar, Panchayat Members Shri. Santosh Bandodkar & Shri. Akshay Govekar, Sangh Secretary Shri. Yuvraj Malik, Treasurer Shri. Karan Govenkar, Shri. Shyam Naik, Shri. Prasad Kalangutkar, Shri. Amey Pednekar, Shri. Yeshwant Shirodkar, and all members of the Sangh. Their collective efforts ensured the grand success of this cultural celebration.
The competitions were judged by Shri. Arun Nagvekar, Shri. Devidas Kudav, and Shri. Mahesh Patankar, while the program was anchored gracefully by Neha Pednekar, Samruddhi Malik, Shraddha Pradeep Dhuri, and Sumit Shirodkar.
The prize distribution ceremony was graced by Hon’ble Zilla Panchayat Member Shri. Sandeep Bandodkar, who also extended his generous support by sponsoring the trophies and congratulating all winners and participants.
