Saligao: The Tembi ground in Anjuna was abuzz with excitement as Nerul Veterans clinched the 1st All-Goa Veterans late Babli Govekar football tournament, edging out Nuvem Veterans 3-2 in a nail-biting finale. The match, played under floodlights, saw both teams give their all, with Nerul Veterans ultimately emerging victorious.
The game was a closely contested one, with Nuvem Veterans taking an early lead through Milagres Fernandes.
