“Harmony in Diversity: MuslimsĀ Celebrates Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi with Devotion and Communal Unity”
Muslims in Panaji, the capital city of Goa, celebrated Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi, the birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him), with great fervor and gaiety. The celebrations took place under tightened security, given the concurrent Sarvajanik Ganeshotsav festivities at Church Square.
The event saw a heavy deployment of security forces, who ensured the celebrations went off peacefully. The festivities featured heartfelt dua for humanity, soulful naat sharif, and inspiring bayan. Speeches emphasized the importance of embracing the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and upholding communal harmony in the state.
As part of the celebrations, Muslim brothers extended warm Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi greetings, wishing “Eid Mubarak,” to neighbors, friends, and followers of other faiths, fostering a sense of unity and togetherness.
