TEDxPanaji 2025 Innovation Hub Showcases Bold Solutions; Celebrates Goa’s Innovation Spirit

~ 20 selected innovators presented future-ready ideas in healthcare, sustainability, artificial intelligence, clean technology and education at TEDxPanaji 2025.

Panaji, September 2025 — Twenty innovators from across Goa and beyond on Saturday showcased groundbreaking concepts in healthcare, sustainability, artificial intelligence, clean technology and education at the Innovation Hub at the TEDxPanaji 2025.

The event was inaugurated by Rohan Khaunte, Minister for Tourism, Information Technology, Electronics & Communications and Printing and Stationery, Government of Goa, at the Kala Academy in Panaji.

Speaking at the event, Khaunte said, “TEDxPanaji has started an important journey by giving startups and young minds a platform to showcase their ideas, collaborate, and turn innovation into real opportunities. This kind of engagement inspires creativity and helps make Goa a hub for talent and entrepreneurship.”

The Innovation Hub, envisioned as a space where ideas move beyond the stage, helped innovators connect with investors, mentors, policymakers and the wider community. This year’s edition saw, among other notable innovations, standout solutions including Argus Aviation, an AI-powered autonomous drone platform redefining infrastructure inspections; AgriVijay, a renewable energy marketplace bringing solar, biogas and green solutions to rural households and Vygr, a human-powered, AI-supported creator platform transforming digital storytelling, reflecting how bold ideas can address both local and global challenges.

“TEDx is a year-long journey of passion and dedication, entirely voluntary, driven by people who believe in the power of ideas. To all the innovators here today, congratulations. You’ve made it through a rigorous process, and this is just the beginning of your journey to share your stories and ideas with the world,” said Ravi Kambhoj, organiser and curator, TEDxPanaji.

The showcase drew droves of visitors and gave innovators an opportunity to interact directly with students, professionals and industry experts on one platform, to validate their work, gain visibility among policymakers, investors and explore collaborations that could scale their ideas nationally or even globally.

“It’s been an incredible year of planning and seeing it all come to life today. We are so glad to witness innovative ideas from Goa and beyond, and I’m truly grateful to everyone, our volunteers, partners, and the entire TEDx team for making this possible,” according to Pawan Sharma, Director, Innovation Hub.

This year, the Innovation Hub received over 100 applications from across India, of which 20 finalists were selected after a rigorous two-stage pitching and screening process. Their participation underscored Goa’s position not just as a tourism destination, but also a launchpad for innovation and impact-driven entrepreneurship.
