Minister Khaunte launched NRAI’s Goa chapter, providing a platform for restaurateurs to voice their grievances and work together for industry growth.
The industry is a significant contributor to Goa’s economy, with nearly 50% of tourist spending going towards food and beverages.
Khaunte emphasized the importance of regenerative tourism, highlighting the role of restaurants in promoting local cuisine, culture, and economic growth ¹ ².
NRAI’s RoleNRAI President Sagar Daryani highlighted the association’s commitment to unity and progress within the industry. “We bring everyone together – from casual dining to QSRs, cafes, pubs, cloud kitchens, bakeries – everyone has equal representation,” Daryani said, emphasizing NRAI’s role in supporting the industry’s growth and development ³.
