Blood donation camp was organized by Caring Souls, in collaboration with JCI Bardez Bandhan and Moira legal aid cell on March 27, 2022, at Moira Club. A team of doctors and nurses of GMC Blood Bank had come for the collection of blood. Organizers got an overwhelming response & over 50 donors donated their blood. There were also prominent people in the city who were there to donate blood. Certificates of appreciation, donation cards, refreshments were given to each donor as a token of gratitude.
The camp was organized as a part of a blood donation drive across Goa to avoid blood shortages in blood banks. The camp was inaugurated by Mr. Nikhil Dixit (President of Caring Souls), JFM Shiya Naik (President of JCI Bardez Bandhan), Joann D’costa (Deputy cell in charge of Moira legal aid cell), Mark D’souza (Group leader of Caring Souls), Kajol Bandodkar (Group leader of Caring Souls) Dr. Clare D’mello (Dr. GMC), Anant Volvoikar (Group leader of Caring Souls), Ranjit Rodrigues (Group leader of Caring Souls). Team members of the Legal aid cell were also present as a volunteer. All the collected blood was sent to GMC Blood Bank to save precious lives. This was an act of great service to humanity…
