The development work in the ward is not decided by the panchayat so there is a need for constant follow ups because the files submitted to the concerned department are lingering. Therefore, some works take 4-5 years to complete said siolim MLA Delilah Lobo.
Lobo was speaking after inaugrating several developemental works In Ward No. 3 (Bandirwada) of caisua Panchayat
The works include laying of the foundation stone of five development works such as road repair, drain construction, road construction, development work through rural development machinery and solar energy installed lights.
Sandesh Khorjuvekar, following the resolutions, has given priority to development works not only in his ward but also in other wards” said Lobo
Speaking on the occasion, khorjuvekar said that they got good colleagues and activists during the election, we won because of their good work and their strength.
He said that he had recently raised the issue of water in the constituency in the Assembly and would continue to pursue it and complete all the tasks of the electorate.
