Agriculture Minister Ravi Naik has urged the people to co-operate with the laying of underground power cabling which will require road digging.

Agriculture Minister Ravi Naik has urged the people to co-operate with the laying of underground power cabling which will require road digging. He said work is taken costing around Rs 70 crore.
This will provide an uninterrupted power supply to consumers.
Naik was speaking after laying the Foundation stone for a 11 kv underground power cabling for Ponda and Curti Khandepar Panchayat in the presence of NRI Commissioner Adv.Narendra Savoikar, Chief Engineer Stephen Fernandes, PMC Chairperson Ritesh Naik, ZP Priya Chari, Curti Khandepar Sarpanch Naved Tehsildar, Executive Engineer at Curti Power Sub Station Bharatan, AE Keshav Gavade, Councillor Geetali Talavalikar, Shantaram Colvekar, Anand Naik.
The trees falling on power lines was a significant hurdle during monsoon, affecting the power supply. After this work, the issue would be solved.
