Drowning incident at Wagator beach
Sdpo Mapuca jivba Dalvi informed that on Monday at around at 15.16 hrs received a call from PCR Panaji informing that two persons are drowned into the sea at Vagator beach Vagator Bardez Goa. Accordingly Anjuna ps staff rush to spot upon enquiry it is revealed that two male persons who went to have bath in sea was drowned. As such rescue operation was conducted by the life guard into the sea and managed to save one person. Upon asking the said person disclose his name as Balinder Kumar s/o Kushar Prasad age:- 25 years n/o Gorakhpur U. P. He further informed that he and his brother in law namely Arjun Kumar age:-22 years n/o Gorakhpur U. P went to have bath in sea at Vagator and despite of giving warning by life guard to get out from the sea water they continue to bath into the rough sea waves.
As a result brother in law of Balinder Kumar namely Mr.Arjun Kumar age:-22 years n/o Gorakhpur U. P disappeared into the rough sea waves. Search operation is in progress.
