Menstrual health and hygiene session for adolescent girls student of all the 4 schools of Calangute ie Don Bosco High school, Little flower Of Jesus high school ,Vidhyaniketan high school and st. Savio Dominic High school was organised by Dy Sarpanch Calangute Panchayat and village child committee chairperson Geeta Parab. Dr Diksha Divkar was the resource person, she explained importance of health and hygiene during menstrual cycle, why it is essential and also explained importance of sanitary napkins. Around 640 sanitary napkins were distributed to these adolescent girl students.
