This incident is not one-of-its-kind. According to the sarpanch of Calangute Joseph sequeira the panchayat on a number of occasions had received verbal complaints from concerned citizens regarding the issue following which they kept a watch and managed to catch the driver and the tanker when the waste was being released.
Calangute sarpanch Joseph Sequeira has appealed to the Citizens of Calangute to click photos of tanker and it send to him or concerned Panch Member and they will initiate Quick Action
