Vedang Kamat has emerged as the Global Champion of the “AI Robo City Challenge” at Codeavour 5.0 International, held in Dubai on the 4th and 5th of May

Master Vedang Anay Kamat from Saraswat Vidyalaya, Mapusa showcased extraordinary talent and dedication in the “AI Robo City Challenge” track 2, competing against participants from over 60 countries. We are proud to announce that Mast.Vedang Anay Kamat emerged as world champion in Junior category, showcasing exemplary skills in coding autonomous robots.

His journey towards this prestigious accomplishment began with the Codeavour 5.0 Goa regionals hosted at Saraswat Vidyalaya on 10th March 2024. Following their outstanding performances at the regional level, Vedang secured the second rank at the India National event held at Alpine Convent School, Gurgaon, on 6th April 2024. These achievements paved his way to the International Final event, where he demonstrated unparalleled competence and emerged victorious.

This success stands as a testament to the dedication of our student the guidance of our Mentors, Mr. Anay Kamat and Mrs. Sanchita Nagvekar (Computer Teacher). Heartfelt congratulations to Mast Vedang Kamat and mentors for their outstanding performance on the global stage. His achievement brings immense pride to our school and reaffirm our commitment to providing a conducive environment for holistic development and excellence.

Mrs. Maya Anay Kamat , mentor of Usha Kumawat , from The Progress High School Panaji, also won the special award “Champions Change Maker “ Award for the mentor of the year for the Codeavour 5.0 . This was a proud moment for all our fellow Goan’s as the teacher has crossed boundaries to make her student acheive her goals and reach the venue at Dubai by initiating the crowdfunding through social media awareness with the use of video appeal.
