GANDHI JAYANTI CELEBRATIONS: TRIBUTES PAID TO MAHATMA GANDHI IN MAPUSA
Mapusa, Goa – October 2, 2024:The 155th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi was celebrated with great fervor in Mapusa, Goa, as locals gathered to pay tribute to the Father of the Nation.
As part of the celebrations Floral tributes were offered at the Gandhi statue in Mapusa with Locals, dignitaries namely Mapusa MLA Joshua Dsouza, Chairperson of Mapusa Municipal council Nutan Bicholkar, school Children and others attending the event also speeches and cultural programs highlighting Gandhi’s principles of non-violence and unity were presented to the audience.
