JUSTICE MAHESH S. SONAK VISITS 18TH EXPOSITION OF ST. FRANCIS XAVIER’S RELICS
In a significant event, Justice Mahesh S. Sonak of the Bombay High Court at Goa sought blessings from the Relics of St. Francis Xavier at the 18th Exposition of the Sacred Relics of St. Francis Xavier, 2024, held at Old Goa.
During his visit, Secretary (Revenue) & Commissioner Exposition, Shri. Sandip Jacques, IAS, presented a memento to Justice Sonak on behalf of the Government of Goa. Shri. Sandip Jacques and Fr. Henry Falcao accompanied Justice Sonak during his visit to the exposition.
This event highlights the significance of the relics of St. Francis Xavier, which are revered by people from all over the world. The exposition is a testament to the rich cultural and religious heritage of Goa.
Notably, Justice Mahesh S. Sonak has been in the news recently for being the first person in Goa to register a “living will,” an advance medical directive that specifies his medical treatment preferences in case he becomes incapacitated ¹
