BJP Reiterates Commitment to Constitution and People’s Welfare
The district-level programme organized by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) at their North Goa District Office in Khorlim-Mapusa on January 22, 2025, underscored the party’s dedication to upholding constitutional values and working tirelessly for the welfare of the people of North Goa.
State President Shri Damodar Naik emphasized the BJP’s commitment to the constitution and its resolve to continue serving the people of North Goa. He expressed confidence in the party’s strength and unity, asserting that together, they would achieve great things.
The event highlighted the significance of the constitution, with party spokesperson Giriraj Pai Vernekar discussing its importance. The architect of the Indian Constitution, Babasaheb Ambedkar, was remembered, and the date of November 26 was noted as Constitution Day.
In his address, Babu Kavlekar stressed the importance of the constitution and warned against speaking against it, which he deemed an attack on the constitution. He also accused the Congress of misguiding people on the constitution.
