Calangute: In a major milestone for Goa’s healthcare sector, the AAM-SHC Arpora-Nagoa has become the first sub-health center in the state to receive the prestigious National Quality Assurance Standards (NQAS) certification.
This achievement is a testament to the tireless efforts of the healthcare team, led by Dr. Roshan Nazareth, Health Officer PHC Candolim, and supported by the Directorate of Health Services, Goa.
The NQAS certification is a rigorous evaluation process that assesses healthcare facilities on various parameters, including infrastructure, equipment, staffing, and service delivery. “This certification is a proud moment for us, and we are committed to maintaining the highest standards of healthcare delivery,” said Dr. Roshan Nazareth. “We are grateful for the support of the Directorate of Health Services, Goa, and the local community, without which this achievement would not have been possible.”
The AAM-SHC Arpora-Nagoa is a fully air-conditioned and WiFi-enabled facility, equipped with state-of-the-art medical equipment and a team of dedicated healthcare professionals. The sub-health center offers a range of healthcare services, including 15 point-of-care tests, 106 essential medicines, vaccines, and other healthcare infrastructure and equipment.
