Kirti Vidyalaya Hosts Successful Children’s Meet
A children’s meet was organized by Kirti Vidyalaya. Students from Government Primary School, Bamanwada and Government Primary School, Oshel-Chopde, Kirti Vidyalaya (Pre-Primary Department), Kirti Vidyalaya (Primary Department) schools in Shivoli village participated enthusiastically in this fair. Various games and competitions, educational and recreational activities were organized in this program.
The program was started by the teachers of Government Primary School, Bamanwada, Mrs. Pragati Chanekar and Mrs. Seema Gosavi and the teachers of Government Primary School, Oxel -Chopdem, Mrs. Vidya Salgaonkar and Kumari Catherine Godd with the lighting of the lamp. The school principal Mrs. Pooja Wadkar addressed everyone.
Bouquets were given to the chief guests. Also, the teacher Mrs. Reshma Goltekar explained the importance of the children’s gathering to everyone. After that, after taking refreshments, the students participated in various competitions and games. Games and competitions like filling matchsticks in a matchbox, stringing beads, matching shapes, filling a water bottle, balancing a book on the head, and wearing a limp were organized for the children. The teachers and guests of the school appreciated the talents of the children. The main objective of this gathering was to increase confidence in the students and enable them to acquire various skills. All the students present were shown various sports items. Matri-Pitru Poojan was organized for all the students and parents.
At the end of the program, the winners were given prizes by the chief guest Shri. Santosh Korkankar, social worker, Harmal and all the present appreciated this initiative. On this occasion, the school chairman Shri Rajesh Vaigankar, school manager Shri Parmanand Mandrekar, senior teacher of the school and program coordinator Mrs. Sangeeta Vaigankar were present on the platform.
