CALANGUTE GETS SAFETY BOOST: Police Intensify Night Patrolling and Nakabandi Operations
In a bid to strengthen security and prevent crime, Calangute Police Station has launched an enhanced night patrolling and nakabandi operation in the beach town.
Under the supervision of Police Inspector Paresh G. Naik, the police station has deployed additional personnel to patrol the area in jeeps at regular intervals. A dedicated Tourist Police Booth has also been set up to provide assistance to locals and tourists.
The nakabandi operations, conducted at strategic points, aim to check vehicles and prevent suspicious activities. The police are also urging citizens to report any unusual incidents or suspicious behavior.
With the tourism season in full swing, the enhanced security measures are expected to provide a safer environment for visitors and residents alike.
