GOA STUDENT SHINES ON GLOBAL STAGE: PRACHI SHAMEN WINS BRONZE IN MATH OLYMPIAD
Panaji, March 10, 2025: In a proud moment for Goa, Prachi Shamen, a Class IX student of People’s Secondary School, Mala-Panaji, has clinched a bronze medal in the Mathematics Olympiad examination, organized by the International Olympiad Foundation.
Prachi’s impressive performance didn’t stop there. She also secured the top spot in the Western Zone in the “Reasoning and Aptitude” Olympiad, earning her a first division and the title of Zonal Topper.
This remarkable achievement has brought laurels to Prachi, her school, and the state of Goa, demonstrating the academic prowess of local students on the international stage.
Prachi was recently felicitated with a cup, medal, and certificate in recognition of her outstanding achievement, inspiring her peers and cementing her position as a rising star in the academic world.
